R-Truth is a member of the NXT roster as of 2017. He has held three championships throughout his career as he is a 1-time WWE Tag Team Champion and 1-time World Tag Team Champion with The Miz as Awesome Truth. R-Truth is also a former as well as first ever WTX Champion.


Debut & Awesome Truth (2012)

R-Truth made his WTX Universe debut on the May 14th 2012 edition of Raw as a surprise partner of The Miz in which they formed Awesome Truth, the match ended with them losing to the team of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & The Rock.

On the June 27th 2012 edition of NXT, Awesome Truth made another appearance, staring down Brodus Clay after he had defeated Chavo Guerrero in the main event. The following week Clay teamed with Triple H to face Awesome Truth, with Awesome Truth still getting the win.

Awesome Truth were set to face Triple H in a Handicap Match a few weeks later, however, Brodus Clay accepted the challenge instead. Awesome Truth defeated Clay and then went on to beat him with a steel chair. At Bragging Rights, Awesome Truth competed for and won the WWE Tag Team Championship from Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks, marking their first and only championship win. The team were then awarded their second championship, in exchange for their first, as Awesome Truth & Team D-Z exchanged the WWE & World Tag Team Championship to hold the correct championships within their brands. They quickly lost the championship at Survivor Series to Too Cool.

SmackDown (2013)

As part of the 2013 Supplemental Draft, Awesome Truth were drafted from RAW to SmackDown.

Return to RAW (2014)

In 2014, Truth returned to RAW, teaming with D'Angelo Dinero in the tag division.

Draft to NXT (2015)

In April of 2015, Truth was drafted from RAW to NXT as part of the 2015 Supplemental Draft. At NXT TakeOver II, Truth teamed with Xavier Woods, losing to the team of Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady.

At TakeOver: Brooklyn, Truth won a quailfying match for the 2016 Royal Rumble match, defeating Brian Pillman.

On February 3rd, Truth won a Fatal 4-Way Match to become the new contender for the NXT Championship. The following week Truth attacked AJ Styles before his championship match later in the night, claiming he didn't want Styles to interfere. Despite this, Truth lost the main event championship match to defending champion Pentagon Jr..

WTX Champion & NXT (2016-present)

R-Truth competed in an 8-Man tournament to determine the first ever WTX Champion at WTX Live! From London. Truth won the tournament, last defeating Rob Van Dam to become the first champion. Truth held the championship for only a month however, as at WrestleMania V, Truth lost the championship to Darren Young. As Truth attempted to get his rematch, Darren Young was attacked by Jack Swagger cancelling Truth's match. The following week on Main Event, Truth faced Young for the championship as well as Swagger in a triple threat, Truth was unsuccessful as Swagger became the new WTX Champion. On June 29th, Truth faced Sting in a contenders match for the United States Championship, however, Sting defeated Truth.

At Royal Rumble, Truth was voted into a Hardcore Championship match as the participant from NXT, the match was won by Tye Dillinger, who pinned the defending champion Chad Gable.
