The NXT Women's Championship is a women's division championship within the WTX Universe. It is the women's division championship of the NXT brand and was first introduced on an episode of NXT between NXT Women's Championship Tournament finalists Michelle McCool and the first ever champion, Maryse.


The NXT Women's Championship debuted as the women's division championship of the NXT brand on April 29th 2015 with Maryse defeating Michelle McCool to become the first ever champion. McCool quickly took the belt from Maryse, winning it at NXT TakeOver.

The championship was retired and replaced by the ECW Women's Championship on March 1st, making Havok the final NXT Women's Champion.
