Mark Henry is a member of the ECW roster as of 2017. He has held two championships throughout his career as Henry is a former World Tag Team Champion with The Nation of Domination partner Farooq as well as a former World Heavyweight Champion.
Mark Henry made his WTX Universe debut on the June 4th 2012 edition of Raw, he faced off against former WWE Champion CM Punk and defeated him with a World's Strongest Slam. At WrestleMania II, Henry lost a 6-Man Battle Royal for the United States Championship & Intercontinental Championship, the match was won by MVP.
Nation of Domination (2013)
On April 30th, Henry debuted new tag team partner Farooq, the team named themselves The Nation of Domination, they defeated n.W.o members Hulk Hogan & Kevin Nash in a tag team match. Following several weeks of victories, The Nation of Domination defeated Team D-Z at Extreme Rules to become World Tag Team Champions. The Nation of Domination then lost their championships at Cyber Sunday to newcomers The Disciples of Darkness, who were voted into a championship match.
In late 2013, Henry began building a lot of momentum following several wins, until, at Royal Rumble, he faced Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, losing to the champion. At King of the Ring, Mark Henry competed in the King of the Ring tournament being eliminated in the first round by Triple H.
Draft to NXT (2014)
Hall of Pain (2015)
On April 1st, Henry was drafted from NXT to SmackDown as part of the 2015 Draft. Henry made his SmackDown debut on May 8th, acting far more aggressive, making a habit out of smashing his opponents through the baracade and/or the announce desk before pinning them in the ring, starting out by injuring Chris Jericho. The next week, Henry teamed with the World Heavyweight Champion Tyler Breeze to face Breeze's opponent for Judgment Day the following Sunday, Roman Reigns, as well as Dean Ambrose, Breeze then ended up walking out on Henry, which sent Henry into a fit of rage in which he brutally injured Reigns and then went on to defeat Ambrose, after the match it was announced that Reigns was too hurt to compete on Sunday and Henry would face Ambrose in a match to determine who would challenge Breeze later in the show. At Judgment Day, Henry lost to Ambrose, but then attacked Ambrose before the main event and through him through a glass window, injuring Ambrose and taking his place, squashing Breeze and winning the World Heavyweight Championship. At SummerSlam, Henry faced and retained against Edge.
At Cyber Sunday, Henry retained again, this time against Ultimate Warrior. At No Mercy, Henry faced and retained against longest reigning former WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar. At Survivor Series, the two faced off again, with Lesnar defeating Henry this time to become the new champion. After which it was announced that Henry had been traded away from SmackDown to RAW, preventing him from getting a rematch.
At Vengeance, Henry competed for the WWE Championship inside of the Elimination Chamber, making it to the final two before being eliminated via a surprise RKO from Randy Orton.
WWE Championship pursuit (2016-2017)
In early 2016, Henry was placed into a Fatal 4-Way contenders match for Randy Orton's WWE Championship, winning the match to earn a shot at Orton, continued their mini-feud from Vengeance. Henry insisted the match with Orton be an Extreme Rules Match, attacking Orton as he made his entrance and pushing Orton to accept his challenge. At King of the Ring Orton defeated Henry to retain the WWE Championship. Henry entered himself into the Joker's Wild Tournament on May 9th, being randomly paired with The Miz, the team lost to Drew Galloway & Sheamus. Henry next faced the WWE Champion, Triple H on Raw as punishment for Triple H getting himself disqualified against Brock Lesnar in the previous weeks main event. The match had the additional ruling that Triple H could not get himself disqualified or counted out and Evolution could not interfere. Henry defeated Triple H, earning himself a WWE Championship opportunity the following week. However, Triple H defeated Mark Henry after a cheapshot as Henry was making his entrance.
On April 2nd 2017, Henry was drafted from RAW to ECW as part of the 2017 Draft.
