Jeff Hardy is a member of the SmackDown roster as of 2017. He has held a total of three championships throughout his WTX Universe career as he is a former Hardcore Champion as well as a former World Tag Team Champion with his brother Matt Hardy as The Hardy Boyz. He is also the current reigning Light Heavyweight Champion.
World Tag Team Champion (2012)
Jeff Hardy made his WTX Universe debut alongside Matt Hardy as one half of The Hardy Boyz at No Way Out 2012, the two were given a shot in their debut against the World Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane for their championships, the Hardy's won, making them champions on their first night. The Hardyz went on to defeat challengers John Morrison & Joey Mercury at SummerSlam.
At Night of Champions, The Hardyz defended against Team D-Z, however, the match ended in a no contest, meaning they remained champions. A rematch between the two teams took place at Bragging Rights, this time with Team D-Z winning the championships from The Hardyz. The Hardyz had their next championship opportunity at TLC, challenging Too Cool for the World Tag Team Championship, The Hardyz were unsuccessful.
As part of the 2013 Supplemental Draft, The Hardys were drafted from RAW to SmackDown. On the May 31st edition of SmackDown, Hardy defeated Randy Orton for the Hardcore Championship. Two weeks later, Hardy lost the championship to his brother Matt in a TLC Match.
Draft to RAW (2015-2016)
In April of 2015, Hardy was drafted from SmackDown to RAW as part of the 2015 Supplemental Draft. At Over the Limit, Hardy challenged for the Cruiserweight Championship, losing to Hideo Itami. At SummerSlam, Hardy competed for the Television Championship, losing to Drew McIntyre. At Night of Champions, Hardy lost to Bo Dallas in a singles match.
On March 28th, Hardy won a qualifying match for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania V.
Draft to NXT (2016-2017)
On April 4th Hardy was drafted to the NXT brand as part of the 2016 Draft. Hardy made his NXT debut on May 18th, losing to John Cena and ending Cena's losing streak. At Money in the Bank, Hardy competed in the Tertiary Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but was unsuccessful as the match was won by Hideo Itami. On July 6th, Hardy was entered into a Cruiserweight Championship Four for Fortune chase, he eliminated Johnny Mundo in the first week off of a Twist of Fate.
On the December 29th edition of NXT, Hardy won a Fatal 4-Way against Rey Fenix, Matanza & Ryback to potentially qualify for the 2017 Royal Rumble Match. However, he was told that if Austin Aries would not recover from injuries in time for New Year's Revolution in which Aries would face The Rock in a qualifier, Hardy would take Aries' place, with that being the first official NXT qualifier. At the event, Aries was revealed to be recovered but decided he did not want to do things on The Rock's terms and so Hardy was made to face The Rock despite injuries suffered from the 4-Way just a few days prior, at the event The Rock defeated Hardy with a Rock Bottom.
On January 18th, Hardy called out Austin Aries demanding a fair rumble qualifier against Aries, Aries answered the challenge, with Hardy defeating Aries to qualify for the 2017 Royal Rumble Match.
On March 15th, Hardy made his return to tv to team with Sami Zayn and defeat Kevin Owens & Mil Muertes, after which, it was announced that Hardy would challenge for Zayn's United States Championship alongside Owens & Muertes in a four way match at WrestleMania VI.
Hardy Boyz Reunion (2017-present)
On April 2nd 2017, Hardy was drafted from ECW to SmackDown as part of the 2017 Draft, reuniting him with his brother Matt Hardy after almost five years.
