Career

SmackDown (2012)

JBL made his WTX Universe debut on the July 6th 2012 edition of SmackDown, defeating Hunico. On November 9th, JBL was entered into a Fatal 4-Way Match for the Hardcore Championship, the match was won by Brock Lesnar.

Hardcore Champion (2013)

On the March 17th edition of SmackDown, JBL defeated Stone Cold to win the Hardcore Championship. JBL then lost it the following week to Batista.

Return & Raw (2016-present)

On an episode of Main Event, following the Royal Rumble event, JBL made his return to the WTX Universe, saying it was a more exciting return to follow up the Rumble return of AJ Styles & Samoa Joe. JBL would go on to lose to Goldust in his return match. In March, JBL competed in a Money in the Bank qualifier, losing to Damien Sandow.

On May 30th, JBL competed in the Joker's Wild Tournament, initially being randomly paired with Ricky Steamboat, he was set to face Chris Jericho & Rob Van Dam, however, Steamboat & RVD were releaed. Due to this JBL was partnered with Jericho to face a new team entered in the tournament, Evolution's Batista & Randy Orton. Jericho and JBL would quickly lose the match.

JBL returned quickly to singles competition, facing Jericho and stating that he deserved the Intercontinental Championship match that Jericho earned the previous week. After losing to Jericho on July 11th, he announced that he will now have a "bodyguard" to help get him where he should rightfully be.
