Heath Slater is a member of the SmackDown roster as of 2017. He has held 8 championships throughout his WTX Universe career as he is a former 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion, twice alongside PJ Black and once alongside Wolfe as 3MB, a former Hardcore Champion, a 2-time NXT Tag Team Champion with PJ Black, and a 2-time Cruiserweight Champion.


Debut & Teaming with Justin Gabriel (2012)

Heath Slater made his WTX Universe debut on the debut episode of Raw on January 30th 2012 in a tag team match alongside Justin Gabriel against Cody Rhodes and Intercontinental & World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, the match ended with Slater & Gabriel getting a huge upset win.

The team of Slater & Gabriel were given a World Tag Team Championship opportunity against Big Show & Kane at Elimination Chamber (2012) but failed.

Slater then made a surprise appearance on the June 22nd 2012 edition of NXT, walking out with Randy Orton and staring down the debuting Austin Aries who had just defeated Hunico. The following week Slater teamed with Orton to face Aries, Curt Hawkins also joined Orton & Slater in this match but went on to betray them, attacking Orton and costing them the match, following the match Slater also walked out on Orton.

At Survivor Series, the team of Slater & Gabriel won their first tag team championship, defeating Team D-Z to become WWE Tag Team Champions.

They lost the championships to MNM on the January 27th 2013 edition of SmackDown.

Second WWE Tag Team Championship Reign (2013)

On the August 30th edition of SmackDown, Slater & Gabriel won their second WWE Tag Team Championship, defeating Team Rhodes Scholars. They lost their championship on the September 13th edition of SmackDown to Bad Influence in a Steel Cage Match.

3MB (2014)

On the May 16th 2014 edition of SmackDown, Slater debuted his new faction teaming with Jinder Mahal & Tyler Reks, the three referred to their group as 3MB. They defeated the randomly paired group of Alex Riley, Goldust & Bobby Lashley. At Judgment Day, Slater competed in a 6-Man Battle Royal for the United States Championship, being eliminated first from the match by Chris Hero.

On August 21st, Slater defeated Cody Rhodes to win the Hardcore Championship.

At No Mercy, 3MB's Slater & Wolfe defeated The Dudley Boyz to win the WWE Tag Team Championship, immediately after, they were made to defend them, losing them immediately to The Ascension.

On December 26th, 3MB fought their last match together, with the trio losing to Wolfe Pack once again, after which Slater walked out on Mahal & Rockstar Spud, officially ending the trio.

Reunion with Gabriel & NXT Tag Team Champion (2015)

On February 11th, Slater made his return to the NXT brand, defeating one half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions Evan Bourne in a singles match. The following week, Slater reunited with Justin Gabriel to win the NXT Tag Team Championship from Bourne In-ZaynAt WrestleMania IV, they lost the championship back to Bourne In-Zayn in a Steel Cage match, when Sami Zayn last escaped whilst Heath Slater was laid out in the ring.

Slater was then drafted from NXT to SmackDown as part of the 2015 Supplemental Draft. After barely appearing on SmackDown, Slater returned to NXT on December 16th to reunite with Justin Gabriel and win a contenders match for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

At TakeOver: Brooklyn, they defeated Vicious & Delicious to win their second NXT Tag Team Championship. On December 31st, Slater defeated Darren Young to qualify for the 2016 Royal Rumble match.

Draft to Raw (2016)

Throughout 2016, Slater held the NXT Tag Team Championship with Justin Gabriel, who later changed his name to PJ Black. The team held the championships until WrestleMania V, where they lost them to Curtis Axel & Mr. Perfect. Following their championship loss, they were drafted to Raw. On the April 16th edition of Main Event, Slater competed in his first match as a Raw superstar, losing to Ricky Steamboat. The team of Slater & Black, however, stated they were challenging for the WWE Tag Team Championship following Backlash. The team silently split as Black replaced Slater with Jack Evans, however. On the May 29th edition of Main Event, Slater competed in a #1 contenders match for the WTX Championship but was unsuccessful, losing to Titus O'Neil.

On December 12th, Slater teamed with a surprise partner of Brian Kendrick to defeat The Worldwide Underground, which in turn banned Jack Evans from ringside for Slater's upcoming match with Black for the Cruiserweight Championship at Roadblock. Slater then confirmed a tag team between him and Kendrick named Social Outcasts.

At Roadblock, Slater defeated Black to win back the Cruiserweight Championship, pinning Black off of a Smash Hit DDT.

Cruiserweight Champion (2016-2017)

On February 13th, after two months of not defending the championship, Slater was forced into an impromptu match against Drago for the Cruiserweight Championship, in the match Slater resorted to dirty tactics to retain the championship. Slater was then made to defend his championship again the next week, losing the championship in a Battle Royal to his own partner, Brian Kendrick.

On March 13th, Slater got his rematch, losing to Kendrick again.

Return to SmackDown (2017-present)

On April 2nd 2017, Slater was drafted from RAW to SmackDown as part of the 2017 Draft.
