Hawk made his debut together with The Road Warriors partner Animal on the June 1st 2010 edition of NXT, revealing they had signed with SmackDown, the two defeated fellow debuting team The Enforcers. Two weeks later, The Road Warriors defeated D-Generation X, bringing them to the finals of a WWE Tag Team Championship contenders tournament, in which they lost to The Mizfits (Alex Riley & Zack Ryder) on SmackDown the following Friday.

On July 30th, Hawk competed in his first singles match in the main event of SmackDown, losing to Triple H in a contenders match for the WWE Championship.

In late 2010, The Road Warriors became frustrated and their lack of use in the prior months, defeating multiple tag teams on SmackDown. On January 7th 2011, The Road Warriors defeated Riley & Ryder in a match stated to have gotten them back on track after their initial loss.

On February 21st, The Road Warriors surprisingly moved to RAW, to defeat The United Kingdom in an impromptu World Tag Team Championship match to capture their first championship as a team. The next week, it was announced they would face The Power Trip for the championship at WrestleMania II. At the event, their reign ended quickly, losing the championship to The Power Trip.

Championship Reigns & Retirement (2011)[]

On April 9th 2011, Hawk was drafted to the ECW brand with Animal as part of the 2011 WWE Draft. The two finally made their debut on the May 24th edition of ECW, losing in a quarter finals match as part of a tournament to determine the first ECW World Tag Team Champions to the team of Epico & Primo. Both Hawk & Animal turned heel shortly after this loss, refusing to team up as the ECW fans "did not deserve it" due to their lack of success upon debuting. However, after many mind games, the two returned to teaming at Judgment Day, defeating Diamond Dallas Page in a Handicap Match. Two days later on ECW, The Road Warriors defeated Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie to capture the ECW World Tag Team Championship. After engaging in a small rivalry with Epico & Primo, the two teams faced off at SummerSlam, with The Road Warriors losing the championship in their first defense to the underdog team. Following this loss, it was announced on the following episode of ECW that The Road Warriors had terminated their contracts with ECW.

On September 16th, they issued a statement that they would return to the ring inside Hell in a Cell against Edge & Christian for the WWE Tag Team Championship, the only championship they'd not won together, at Hell in a Cell, stating if they lost, they'd retire. At the event, The Road Warriors became the first team to have held all three championships, defeating Edge & Christian to end their record 182 day reign.

On November 25th, Hawk defeated Rikishi to qualify for the 2011 King of the Ring Tournament. At the event, Hawk was eliminated in the quarter finals by Kane. At TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, the Road Warriors faced Edge & Christian in a rematch in which if they lost, they'd retire. The match saw Edge & Christian defeat The Road Warriors to regain the championship, ending their historic career.
