Eddie Guerrero is a member of the NXT roster as of 2017. He has held three championships throughout his WTX Universe career, the World Heavyweight Championship, the World Tag Team Championships with Chavo Guerrero, as well as NXT Tag Team Champions with Chavo under the team name "Los Guerreros."
Pursuit of World Heavyweight Championship (2012)
Eddie Guerrero started his career in pursuit of SmackDown's World Heavyweight Championship. He debuted on WTX Universe's debut event, Royal Rumble 2012, in a Fatal 4-Way for the championship and almost won being last eliminated by Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton. The match also featured then-champion The Undertaker and fellow challenger Vader. Guerrero appeared to have suffered an injury at the hands of Orton by the end of the match however he continued to compete as he faced and defeated Vader on the debut episode of SmackDown on February 3rd.
He and Vader feuded for a few weeks on SmackDown but upon Triple H making his debut and targetting them both on the February 10th edition of SmackDown, Guerrero and Vader made peace with Vader being in the corner of Guerrero as he took on and defeated David Otunga (managed by Alicia Fox) the following week.
He was given another chance at Lesnar's World Championship at Money in the Bank, this time capturing his first World Championship by defeating Lesnar in a Ladder Match. Eddie would continue to pick up big wins on the follow weeks of SmackDown headed into SummerSlam in which he defended his World Heavyweight Championship against former champion Brock Lesnar as well as newcomer Samoa Joe. Guerrero then defended his championship once again in a multi-man match, retaining against Samoa Joe, Paul Burchill, Edge & Randy Orton in a 20-Minute Championship Scramble Match. Guerrero lost his championship at Hell in a Cell in a Fatal 4-Way Hell in a Cell Match to The Rock. Guerrero competed in a rematch also featuring Christian and Randy Orton at Bragging Rights, however, the match was won by Orton.
As part of the 2013 Supplemental Draft, Guerrero was drafted from SmackDown to RAW. Guerrero was then voted into a United States Championship Match at Cyber Sunday, however, the match was won by the champion Randy Savage.
Los Guerreros (2014)
World Tag Team Champion (2015)
At King of the Ring, Los Guerreros defeated The Vaudevillains to win the World Tag Team Championship. At WrestleMania IV, Los Guerreros faced and retained against Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara in a TLC Match. The following week, Guerrero was drafted to NXT from RAW as part of the 2015 Supplemental Draft, exchanging his World Tag Team Championship for the NXT Tag Team Championship in the process. At NXT TakeOver, they lost the championship to the team of Son of Havoc & Vance Archer
In March, Guerrero competed in a 4-Way Ladder Match to earn a shot at Pentagon Jr. and the NXT Championship at King of the Ring. The championship match was highly competitive with Pentagon defeating Guerrero to retain his championship. The injuries sustained on Guerrero following the match caused Guerrero to take an extended time away from competing.
On the first NXT of 2017, Guerrero defeated Booker T to qualify for the 2017 Royal Rumble Match. On February 8th, Guerrero attacked the NXT Champion Pentagon Jr., issuing a challenge to Pentagon to get revenge for him injuring Guerrero back in early 2016, the two faced off the following week for Pentagons championship, with Pentagon defeating Guerrero via pinfall to retain.
