Before the match could begin however, Edge & Kane were both attacked by Kevin Thorn, who closed out the show. At TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Christian challenged for the championship again alongside his tag team partner Diamond Dallas Page, however, the match was won by Page, beginning issues between Christian & Page, as Christian felt Page should not have been in the match. Edge & Christian challenged the team of Big Show & Kane, who were next in line for the championship, defeating the two and making themselves top contenders for Harper & Rowan's championships.
