On the February 27th 2015 edition of SmackDown, Baron Corbin made his debut joining CM Punk to lead a 2-on-1 beatdown on Kurt Angle, after Punk had previously lost to Angle in a United States Championship match. The following week, Corbin defeated Angle in a non-title squash match. At WrestleMania IV, Corbin competed for the United States Championship, losing the match when Angle pinned Punk.
In April of 2015, Corbin was drafted from SmackDown to RAW as part of the 2015 Supplemental Draft. At Backlash, Corbin debuted the team The Misfits with Corey Graves, the team squashed Zack Ryder & Alex Riley. At Night of Champions, The Misfits challenged for the World Tag Team Championship, losing to the champions D-Generation X.
Towards the end of 2015, Corbin began feuding with Mick Foley, defeating every "face of Foley" in an attempt to retire Foley, at Vengeance, Corbin faced and retired Foley after defeating his Mankind persona.
Intercontinental Champion & Feud with The Undertaker (2016-2017)
On the road to WrestleMania V, as The Undertaker was making his in-ring to return to announce his intentions for WrestleMania, he was assaulted by Corbin. Corbin then went on to challenge Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania, stating he intended to use Undertaker as a stepping stone to becoming a world championship contender. Undertaker would later accept the challenge, adding that it would be an Unsanctioned Match. At WrestleMania Corbin lost to Undertaker, coming close to defeating him on multiple occasions and impressing in the process. Corbin remained on the Raw brand following the 2016 draft, the next night on Raw he challenged any newcomer on Raw to a match, to which The Miz accepted his challenge. Corbin however, would defeat Miz after a competitive match. On the April 18th edition of Raw, it was announced that Corbin would face Undertaker in a rematch at Backlash, per request of Corbin. On the April 25th edition of Raw, Corbin teamed with Samoa Joe to defeat The Undertaker & Cesaro in a tag team match via countout when Corbin attacked Undertaker on the outside whilst Joe was the legal man. At Backlash, Corbin defeated The Undertaker after another incredibly competitive match, Corbin then promised it would be the last time The Undertaker sets foot in a ring again.
Baron Corbin quickly moved on from his victory over Undertaker, challenging Sheamus who had defeated Undertaker 2 weeks prior, after Corbin took credit for Sheamus' victory. Corbin defeated Sheamus, following this, Corbin challenged his tag team partner Corey Graves to a match for the May 9th edition of Raw. Stating that he wanted to leave his past, including Graves behind him. Corbin went on to defeat Graves in quick, dominant fashion.
On June 6th Corbin was given an Intercontinental Championship match with Ric Flair, Corbin dominated, injuring Flair and winning his first championship. Corbin was forced to defend his championship the following week against the top contender, as Flair no longer had his rematch clause. Corbin faced and defeated Luke Harper to retain his championship. On July 4th, it was revealed that Corbin would defend his championship against Chris Jericho at Battleground.
At TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Corbin defeated The Undertaker, Finn Balor & AJ Styles in a 4-Way TLC Match to become the new contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, setting up a match between him and Bobby Roode for the championship at Royal Rumble.
World Heavyweight Champion (2017)
At Royal Rumble, Corbin dominated and defeated Roode off of two End of Days to win his first world championship. He lost the championship just 21 days later when AJ Styles, who Corbin had been feuding with heading into their Elimination Chamber match, ensured that Corbin lost after targetting him the entire match, Styles then went on to win the match after last eliminating Finn Balor.
At Fastlane, Corbin won the championship back from Styles, ending Styles' reign at just two weeks. It was announced the following Tuesday on SmackDown that Corbin would defend his championship at WrestleMania VI against Styles, as well as Finn Balor & The Undertaker in a Fatal 4-Way match.
On April 2nd 2017, Corbin was drafted from SmackDown to ECW as part of the 2017 Draft.
